Sunday Scrap Page: Easter

Here my Easter scrap page with my lovely
9 month old grandson. For the picture
I used a frame app from my i-pad.

All papers are by Club Scrap (various kits)
and Stamps are by Michael Strong:
cloisonné egg and hearts.

When I try to come up with an idea
for a new page I often surf around the
weg and while doing this I found this cute chicken
template snd new this was wat i wanted.
You can find it here:
I used the mini heart for the cockcomb
and the larger heart for the wing.

The egs are embossed with white on
glossy paper stamped with alcohol ink first.
The letters are cut out with the cricut
and stamped with walnut ink with
the large cloisonné egg stamp.
Have a creative day!

Happy Easter

Here my Easter card
to wish you all a
very Happy and Blessed Easter 2013!

I used a Michael Strong
cloisonné Easter egg stamp
on an alcohol background.
The stamp is embossed with
white embossing powder.

The egg is decorated with
a few tiny light green little
sticky pearls.
Across the egg is a ribbon with a bow to make it
look like a wonderful Easter egg.

Have a creative day!

EASTER soon!

Are you ready for
E*A*S*T*E*R?
 Thes 3 bunnies can't wait!
I made this card with images from
and colored them with
watercolor crayons.
The flowers are covered with
glossy accent to give them
more dimention.
The green background is embossed and already
chocolate smudges around the borders.
The bunnies couldn't wait for tomorrow.
With white sticky pearls I placed
the tails of the bunnies and
the grean pearl are for decoration.

Club Scrap Bookshelves Blog Hop

Here we are with another
Blog Hop.
This time you see a lot of
inspiration with the March kit Bookshelves.
You might have come over here from Tricia's Blog
with her wonderful and efficient ideas.

If you get lost on the way, do go back to
Club Scraps main blog Club Scrap Creates
where you find all 16 participating blogs.
I have two creations for you.
The first one is my page for the
Weekly Chronicles. It is a variation on
one of the ALSB pages.

Club Scrap has this wonderful concept
where they have ready made pages for you
with all the papers from your kit called
Assembly Line Scrapbooking.
It is free on the community site.
You find it underneath instructions.

These circles are stamped and punched out.
In the middle there is a little sticky pearl that comes
with this kit.

The library pockets are also in the box
and have a sticky background.

My second creation is a variation on
the free maze booklet. If you did not download it
and do want it, you find it with instructions here:

This is my little brag/tag booklet
and I have some instructions for you too.
Start with a 12x12 inch piece of scrapbookpaper.

Fold this piece in half.
Score on each side parallel to the middle line
at 2 inch and fold it towards the middle line.

Your paper looks like this now.
It is a harmonica wise fold.

Fold the complete piece in half.

Fold front and back in the other way. The complete
booklet is now accordeon wise folded.

Open up the folded booklet and cut
the same way as you do with the mini maze book.
Through the middle, but not the last quarter part.

Fold  the not cutted part together and front and
backside of the booklet harmonica wise.

Here you see where the sides that where not
cut come together.

Before you want to tape open sides together
you can stamp on the inside of the booklet.
Once all is glued together it is not as easy to stamp.

Tape all open ends together
and also

the part that was not cut.

Here you see the finished booklet from the inside.
In each pocket I have added a tag with
a picture.

on the backside one can glue pictures
or write a text.
The booklet is closed with a ribbon that is
fastned underneath the stamped
embellishment at the front of
the booklet.

Thank you so much for looking and please hop
over to the always so very creative

Do join us again in April
when we have another hop
to inspire you with for the
new kit.

Have a creative day!

Tim Holtz March Tag: Pesach

Here is my March tag
for

As Tim has come up with an
Easter tag, I created mine for
Pesach (Passover) and used
Tim as an inspiration.

Here you see the final tag.
I used the same lay out as Tim's tag
and also tried the tattered flower challange.

The sentiment I used is a subway art
from Create by TLC from last year
and it is still there
for you to grab:

On top of the tag there are some Hebrew words
"Chag Sameach"meaning "Happy Holiday"
on a banner from a Tim Holtz die.

Here you see a close uop of the bottom
of the tag with the tattered flowers.
If you click on the picture you can see an even
larger version.
I also made cards with this subway art
and with this I want to wish all my Jewish
scrap and stamping friends a

Have a creative day!
